Not if, but when your ComfyBean cover gets dirty, simply unzip to remove it and then machine wash and dry. The pure cotton ComfyBean cover is more comfortable than typical vinyl and the ComfyBean is filled with polystyrene beads. You can upgrade to our superfill, which is a combination of our recycled polystyrene beads, and shredded foam. Our bead is made from recycled plastics and our new foam from scrap furniture cushioning that would have ended up wastefully clogging a landfill.
